This problem was solved as I had also posted in my other topic "Netscape 4.75". When I changed the table cells in the webpage, it fixed both problems. Here's what I did: Well, I found what my problem was. I had the menu popup in a table cell, inside a table. I deleted the table and just en...

Well, I found what my problem was. I had the menu popup in a table cell, inside a table. I deleted the table and just entered the code in the first table. This probably doesn't make any since, but what I did was: I had a table cell with a dark background. I then added another table cell inside of th...

Netscape 4.75

I have a white divider that goes across the webpage table, just above the horizonal menu. When the page loads I see a white border, at least part of a border. Top and left side only. This is my setting: timegap=500 // The time delay for menus to remain visible followspeed=5 // Follow Scrolling speed...

Netscapes - Horizonal menu shows beyond 780 size table

Internet explorer is fine, but in all versions of Netscape - I have the webpage table set at 780. The horizonal menu set the same, I also tried 0 and I also tried 100% and I also tried 760, But the darkblue background still runs off past my 780 setting. This is how I have the script setup: timegap=5...

When you say, "all fixed, never mind", does not help others that are having the same problem and can't say, "all fixed, never mind".

Please post the question and if you fixed it, then post that as well. At least for others to view that are having this problem.

Cursor on mouseover with no link

In Netscape Communicator 4.75, the main menu link that has a dropdown from it, does not show an arrow. It shows a vertical line. Is there anyway, I can get the main heading of the dropdown to show an arrow since it is not a link? I have tried: ,"Pre-Formed","show-menu=preformed",...

Setting the height of the menu, not the positioning

I think I can set the height of a menu. It seems that I did set the height in the last menu I laid out, but for the life of me I don't remember how. I played around with all settings and nothing worked. Someone tell me please. I am not talking about the positioning. MsKitti http://www.vizualelements...

I moved the menu scripts from the head and have placed them in the body just after the body tag. What do you think and can you see any difference? I did notice however, that the menu doesn't load immediately now. http://www.mptinc1.com/index.shtml If it is better to have them in body anyway, then I ...

Thank you for your input, jgillett. I have moved the website, which has the menu, to my clients host server. Here is the link: http://www.mptinc1.com/index.shtml . Now, when I pull up the homepage, it takes some time. Too long for me. Is there anyway to have some content showup for viewing to ease t...

Don't understand

I'm not understanding why you can't view the webpage behind this link. What do you think. I also viewed the link in Netscape 7.

Menu did not showup at all

I clicked on the above link and all is well. Except the menu loads first and then the content loads second. It takes forever, it seems anyway, for the content to show.

What browser are you using? I am using IE 6 on a Windows XP machine.

Menu loads slow

My menu is slow loading, very slow and is not as large as some other website menu's and they load faster then mine does. I have tested the site without the menu and all is very fast loading. With the menu, so-o-o-o slow. I have not uploaded the website to it's own server, I am a web designer and the...

Back and forward in menu

I have figured it out. I will add it here for others who may benefit by using them. This is the back and foward script that you normally insert in a webpage: <a href="javascript:history.go(-1);" title="go back to previous page">Back</a> <a href="javascript:history.go(+1);&qu...

Next and Back script entry into menu

How do you put this script into the menu and work. I have tried and had no success.

Here is the script itself:

href="javascript:history.go(-1);"
href="javascript:history.go(+1);"

Please help,

too many commas

I had tried that and it worked. I removed all # and extra commas. I see that the # is not needed when you are wanting a menu item to dropdown another menu.

All works fine now. ;)

# isn't a URL

I know this(#) is not a URL. I had a complete address in these links as I did with the rest of the menu. But I was getting the error with the 45 Degree, so I took out the links to shorten the viewing to locate the error, which I have not found yet.

That is not the problem.
