Just for your info, I think if you go to networksolutions you can register to get a domain that's about to expire, back order it or something. I'm not sure how it works except I have to believe there's some kind of charge  But since you are a business I thought you might want to check it out. R...

Thanks Andy. If it's in the new menu then I don't need that code anymore. One question... my knowledge of things is kind of hit or miss about html etc. When you have that target=windowname I take it you windowname to blank or new or parent etc? How would you do the equivalent of this: <A href="...

IT's not the menu John, it's the operator who is trying to get an effect using an added code, and if I don't try my workaround for the pagefontcolor it works perfectly. But if I use that, there's a problem in the older browsers. Here's a link to my two test pages. Just click the NEXT TEST PAGE to se...

well, I believe it was with version 3 and I'm pretty sure it was Andy that put it up. I think it was in one of the samples but they are not available to check anymore. I think it was the one with the new windows, different sized windows and iframes. I remember it had Google on it and it was version ...

calling the old menu

I've finally got the menu exactly as I want it. Yes, it won't work in NN4x or IE 4 the way I have it set up. I was thinking I could maybe do a detect and have the old files called when someone has one of those old browsers, but I'm not savvy on code. After reading a bunch, I put this code together i...

openNewWindow code still needed with V5??

Do we still need to put <script language=javascript> function openNewWindow(winURL,winWidth,winHeight,winConfig) { mmConfig="" mmConfig="width="+winWidth+"," mmConfig+="height="+winHeight+"," mmConfig+=winConfig var mmWin=open(winURL,"",mmC...

Is it really the use of that in the menu that's doing it? It would seem if that's the case that the thousands of websites out there who use that term would have conflicts. Just an idea, if that's the case, wouldn't it be better to change the name of the function in the menu rather than have it have ...

I probably wouldn't pay much attention to the extra info, but some people like it. I'd say it would be ok if one were able to choose to put up any, all or none of what you listed. :)

Thanks John. I just have this thing about working with colors and such and I liked kind of giving an idea right in the little menu link of some of the things the menu did. For me the greatest thing is not just being able to lay it out but also being able to make it sort of artsy for the site. WHen I...

I think the most important thing is...does the MENU itself work, meaning does it come up and do all the submenus and links work? If that works then...yes it's frustrating that certain things might not work on certain browsers but if the menu shows and the links work on most, even the older ones, tha...

Oh, I'm all for advertising the menu :D I even made my own pretty little table submenu with a spiel about it and all the great things it does...Never thought about making the menu wide enough so it wouldn't show. Darned people what the heck does it cost them to have a link for something they think g...

Well, unless you have to get a new machine to be able to upgrade.... wonder how much upgrading of things you can do on a 32 megs of ram 3g HD? That was the computer I had until 2002 when I had finally saved enough for a newer computer. But, my neighbor has my old one..she couldn't afford any at all ...

Grrrr. actually there is a reason not to, in some cases the person has a computer which they cannot afford to update, in some they are elderly...I've worked with a number of them...and it was hard enough for many of them to get them even doing anything with a computer, it took them a lot of time to ...

You're probably right. I just thought that there might be a way to code so that you had to have a http://milonic.com link in the main menu someplace for it to work...then again, what the heck do I know about coding

It would be easier to check out if you had a page up someplace to see what's happening. Well, easier for me. I'm not real code savvy and kind of need the whole page to work on.

a feature request

I've never actually put this in the request section, just tried to get workarounds in the help sections and Hergio really gave me some great help there. But, I thought I might as well put it here and if it seems something useful then at some point if it's feasible, Andy will get to it. Personally, I...

Do you have a website to see what you mean is happening? I have NN4.7 and check my menu in it and once I fixed one thing in my version 5 it stopped doing that. Also, I have version 3 which I know is not being supported now, but I've never had a problem with 4.7 with that version. Also, as a suggesti...
