Hmm... maybe it should work.. but nothing happens when I try it.. I also tried the keepalive property but it didn't respond either.. I'll try again tomorrow (getting late here.. maybe it's just something simple that needs changing :) I did however find a good post (a workaround) which I guess I coul...

Hello Andy :) Okay, I'm glad to hear it didn't matter.. was thinking whether or not to start to remove those ; Hmm.. so I was wondering if there was a property to insert padding to the left and right of the menu item, but without at the same time adding padding on the top/bottom..? If there isn't, i...

Hi jgillett.. :) well, hehe... when I first wrote   without spaces, it was actually converted to a blank space, so then I figured I should try to write it so that it would be visible by adding space between each.. (hm, but now I can write   without spaces so maybe I was just unlucky the first time)....

Hello Hergio ! :) Once again, that worked.. many thanks ! hmm.. well, I have two more questions (these will be last "design/graphics" questions) I wonder how to make a bit of padding on the left/right side of menu items...? I found a property that, indeed, was called "padding" an...

Yeah, when I set the scriptpath, it worked better.. for some stupid reason I got it in my head that I only had to modify scriptpath if the other .js files were located in a different directory other than the menu_data.js file.. :) Now I have solved most of the cosmetic errors I got (with color, posi...

Setting up the menu 5, after having converted from 3?

I can't see anyone having had problem setting up the menu, so it must be kind of obvious..? I upgraded from menu 3 to 5. When I used menu 3, my HTML file had these lines: <SCRIPT language="JavaScript" src="/Index/js/menu_array.js" type="text/javascript"></SCRIPT> <SCRIP...

Thanks Hergio and Andy for your fast replies :)

Okay, I will try to make a separate variable first.. (and make the big .js file even bigger :)

Else, maybe I will try v5 like Andy suggested.. guess it can't be more complicated than making this work :)

Pass a sentence in URL?

Hi (Hergio: Now I've searched this forum and Google for quite a while ;) ) My objective is to pass several words after the URL like this: addmenu(menu=["submenu", ,,185,1,"",style2,,"left",effect,,,,,,,,,,,, ,"A nice page","/subfiles/sub/mypage.asp?sendPa...

Drop-down menu partly hidden by Flash-movie

Hello, does anyone know or have experience of how to make the drop-down menu fall above, rather than "underneath" the flash movie...? I.e. modify some param in the .js files, or some param in the <object> tag used to incorporate the Flash movie, or maybe <div> z-Index positioning...? I hav...

Hello Hergio, and thanks for your prompt reply ! :) Yes, of course, you're absolutely right.. as soon as you presented the solution I realized that I had missed the obvious ! For some reason, I was convinced that I had to put the menu in a <div> to position it, hence neglecting the "innate"...

change position of first submenu that appears?

Hello everyone, I recently placed the mainmenu in a layer/div that is positioned a bit down and to the right. The problem I encounter is that when I move the mouse over the menulinks, the submenu group appears way up instead of right beneath the link. Where do I change the param for this feature? I ...
