Pop-Up menus & keeping hover effect of trigger link.

Hapy Holidays Milonic :D I have a question about using Pop-up menus. I am going to use pop-up menus for my new design. I have the Milonic menus linked to CSS styled text-links. Is it possible to keep the CSS hover effect (for my text link that opens the Milonic Menu) on while the user has the mouse ...

The non-technical answer is because IE5/Mac sucks. I think the real explanation has to do with how positions of elements are derived within the browser. IE/Mac sets an element's parent differently than other browsers, which is probably screwing up the menu system's method of locating the element th...

Relative positioning in CSS layout

Are there any examples of the menu being relatively positioned in a CSS layout?

I know that position relative is used for anchoring in something like a table cell...but I haven't seen the same thing for CSS -

I know the menu should not be placed in a div...

Hi Kevin, Thank you for your most thorough and thoughtful reply. I just took a look at what you said, I will try it and post my results. And I have an easier thing to try, which seems to work. Since the main menu is in a table, try putting in menuwidth="100%"; instead of specifying a width. I just tested in IE5.5, Netscape7.1, Firebird .07 and they all seem to render the same no overlap on the border. Ruth Hi Ruth, I tried...

No matter what I do, the menu is always two pixels larger in Netscape 6/7. I am not sure what is wrong. I...
