Thank you Andy and Ruth. Will I face any conversion issues, moving from such an old version?Andy wrote:Well spotted, Ruth
I can confirm that the menu does in fact work correctly with the latest version on your website.
So, all you need to do is upgrade

Re: jQuery conflict
Hi, The previous person never gave us a url so we could test what was happening. Can you tell me what the problem was and your solution? It might help someone else. I would greatly appreciate it. :) Ruth I just came upon the same issue. Just adding jQuery to the site http://www.parkland-perennials....

Sorry I couldn't be more help, Gerry. It's tough if you can't replicate it in your own environment and 7 or 8 hours time difference does not help either... I was just going through the samples on your site, and noticed that the top level menus are fuzzy too. So are the tooltips. Could it be that th...

Aw, shucks (and stuff!). Your screen shot certainly shows the problem, but I don't know what else to tell you. Given that all is well on other machines it seems to point the finger at the laptop. Does a different font fail the same way? Arial vs Verdana fails too. But you may be right with the lapt...

Hi Gerry - I don't see any difference at all between the main and subs. They are both equally clear and sharp. The fact that you're using the same style for both would also seem to back that up. XP Pro/IE6. Hi John, Thanks for the quick reply. It only seems to be a problem on my laptop XP PRO w/ IE...

Fuzzy Fonts
I just donwloaded a new version (old one was from Nov/03) and I like the nice clean font of the top-level menu. However, the sub-menus' fonts are fuzzy. Any idea how I could tweak that?
See http://www.danen.org/ for what I mean.
Thx

Should see it in the next release. We do, at present, offer tooltips as can be seen here http://www.milonic.com/menusample.php?sampleid=6 and also on our website when viewing the samples menus. This may not work with many text readers though. I think I'll wait for your next release, Andy. I checked...

title= does not work
In this line aI("text=Danen Roots;url=http://roots.danen.org/;target=_blank;title=Check out the Danen ancestry;status=Check out the Danen ancestry;"); I cannot get "title=" to work as a "screentip". Is there a special trick to it or are not all tag elements supported? :...

Is there a version ID in the .js files so I can check what I have? I purchased it on Monday, so I would think I'd have the latest version, no?jgillett wrote:Just went to one of my sites running RC26 (current release) and I'm not seeing the problem there. Re: Final Outstanding Bugs...
I've added status=; on the menu entries with a url as a work-around to keep the status line clear.gdanen wrote:See http://test.danen.org/newdex.shtml for my bug/quirk. When mousing over an item that contains a url, and then mousing off the menu, the status line in IE6 will continue to show that url.

Re: Final Outstanding Bugs...
I know there are a number of posts that still have outstanding issues with v5. Some big items have just been cracked by Andy (even with all his sniveling about his flu!), and we're really close to a final. See http://test.danen.org/newdex.shtml for my bug/quirk. When mousing over an item that conta...
