Re: IE 10 broke our sub-menus and latest version won't drawM
Thanks Ruth, Unfortunately our site is a corporate type and resides behind firewalls and such. There is no way I can expose our DEV environment. I'm hoping this is a very simple 'fix', but since the code is obfuscated, there is no 'easy' way for me to debug it and find out. Thanks anyway, -David

IE 10 broke our sub-menus and latest version won't drawMenus
Hi All, For years we have been running at version 5.719 on our enterprise app. All was well on all browsers. Suddenly IE 10, for *some* people, has terrible results with sub menus. No kidding: the further to the 'right' in the main menu you go, the 'narrower' the dropdown sub-menu gets when displaye...

Tooltip issues
Thanks Ruth. That somewhat solved one issue, although the acute symbol is not really a single quote mark. I guess the real issue is the inclusion of real quote marks, legally escaped that is. Then there is still the issue of 'screen placement', and overall compatibility with OverLib. Thanks again.

Tooltip issues
Hi There - I have a couple of issues with tooltips that I'm hoping you all can help with. First off, what do I do when I need apostrophes in the tip, for instance, showtip('This is Andy's menu') I have tried the basic \' , but that still gets caught in the BuildTips() function inside the tooltip fil...

Netscape 7.1 and Final Release Issues
I just downloaded the final release. For the past several weeks I have been experiencing several small 'issues' with certain features in Netscape 7.1 on Windows 2000. IE works great. First issue: MenuWidth = 100% This used to work great in Netscape 7.1, then a few weeks ago it stopped. Now my menu o...

Milonic web site stopped working for IE6 on PC
Well, I should have posted my final findings on this issue, being that I raised the issues initially. First off, I could do everything just fine at home. I could go to the Milonic web site with no problems. However, at work, if I tried going to http://www.milonic.com, then I would get no menubar, an...

Milonic web site stopped working for IE6 on PC
Thanks John, but it still does not work. The JS error that is reported to IE is as follows: _W is undefined Line: 17 Char: 26060 The menubar does not display. Note that my own personal app works just great still on IE. It is the basic http://www.milonic.com web site that does not seem to work now. M...

Milonic web site stopped working for IE6 on PC
I just tried going to the Milonic web site using IE6 (latest version) on Win2000. This worked perfectly this morning (several hours ago), but now I get Javascript errors and the menubar does not draw. I had to use NS7.1 to enter this error report.

FollowScrolling just broke on NS7
Hi There, I was just playing around in my own app, and noticed that my dropped menus are displaying 'disconnected' from the menubar when the page has been scrolled. If you scroll the page 40 pixels, the menubar moves down 40 px, as it should, but then when you try to show the actual popdown menus, t...

SeperatorHeight Issue
Hi There, I have a basic horizontal menu bar with 10 or so menu items. I am trying to use the seperatorheight property, but it doesn't seem to do anything. First, if I set it to any value within a Style object, then the entire menubar fails to draw. If I move the property to the menu definition itse...

Tool tip issues
I am trying to implement tool tips in my horizontal menu bar. The tips come up as expected, but there are a couple of issues that I would like to raise. The first issue has to do with the Maximum Width (M_maxWidth var in the .js file). It seems that no matter what I entered there, the tips would com...

Does this menu work across frames?
There have been many inquiries about this subject. It seems as though Milonic does not think that uses should implement frames. They also say that version 5 was re-written with a high emphasis on performance, and that cross-frames support hurt that performance. However, it also appears that many use...
