Thanks for all the attention to this issue.
I did install the pre-release but still seem to have the same problem with FF. Not sure if I did something wrong?
I'm using FF 3.0.1 to test.

Menu width problem
When I set the menuwidth to 100% under firefox it steps over the screen boundary just enough to create the scroll bar. You can see this here: http://www.commuterclub.org/
This does not happen in IE.
Any ideas if this can be fixed? Is anyone else having this problem?

Re: Using ASP Session Variables to Adjust Menu
Thanks for the response - that makes sense regarding response.write and html. I can't directly view the data page because it doesn't know what mm_style is as that has not been called. I am going to try to put this into practice today, I'll post again if I run into any problems but I'm optimistic tha...

Re: Using ASP Session Variables to Adjust Menu
I think I've figured it out. I'm not really a programmer but I try to get by. You call the block using this line: <script src="menu_data.asp" type="text/javascript"></script> but this tells the server that whatever is inside that file is javascript, no matter what you name the fi...

Re: Using ASP Session Variables to Adjust Menu
The problem is it doesn't work. If I rename the page and add ASP code, the menus stop loading. I've tried adding one simple line of ASP code which I replicated in another asp file. The asp file ran fine and displayed the output I was coding, but the milonic data file, renamed data.asp, would not loa...

Re: Using ASP Session Variables to Adjust Menu
sorry, I don't see anything that would help me. The one asp file contains this: <script language=JavaScript src="milonic_src.js" type=text/javascript></script> <script language=JavaScript> if(parent.frames.length){top.location=document.location} if(ns4)_d.write("<scr"+"ipt l...

Re: Using ASP Session Variables to Adjust Menu
Thanks, John, that fits better into my knowledge base!
But if I rename the page, what about all the code from the .js page? Do I have to wrap that in <script type="text/javascript"></script> ever time I insert asp code?

Using ASP Session Variables to Adjust Menu
I'd like to be able to determine what options appear based on session variables. For example, if someone enters through site page A, they would see a menu relevant to site page A. Most of the menus would be the same, but a few would need to change. Is this possible using ASP session variables, and i...

Include Common Data Question
I have a root site with many subdomains beneath it. I want to create a common index to all the sites that appears in the menu without having to edit each and every data file. While the list of sites is uniform, each subdomain may not have every menu item other subdomains have, so I can't just have a...

Is this under consideration? Its a good idea to have a site map page as search engines like them, and why reinvent the wheel when this great program already knows where everything is? Should be able to create a dynamic html page that reads the milonic data files to create the map with a choice of fo...

Thanks, Kevin. I can duplicate the problem using this viewer! When I comment out the menu code from the asp page, the form buttons start working again. When I return the line back into the asp page, I can no longer use the form buttons. Clearly having this code on the ASP page is preventing WebTV br...

Issues with Placing Menu in ASP Code
I had some very bizarre behavior when attempting to integrate the menu code on an ASP page - used for Snitz forums. The position of the menu would not change no matter how I altered the offsets, etc. Then if I pointed the code on the ASP page to a different menu file it would change once, but not ag...

WebTV
I saw some posts about the older version not working with WebTV, but does Version 5 have any issues? I have a user of my Snitz forum (.ASP) who can no longer post messages to the forum after I added the menu to the code. I don't see why this code would cause that and I have further troubleshooting t...
