And I haven't been working on it lately either (not for weeks, anyway). Anyone got any clues?
Whoops! Never mind. Somehow the JavaScript had been deleted (just on the home page). Mia Culpa

Kevin
That worked! Thanks At the moment I have: <style> .menuClass { letter-spacing: -1px } </style> right in the head of the page, but I would like to put it into the style sheet. How would I then link to .menuClass in the style sheet from: onclass="menuClass"; offclass="menuClass"; i...

style property to condense the font
Hi Kevin, Just in case there is any confusion, I was not inquiring about a CSS style for my site but a rather a style property for my floating double menu. I have already tried both of the following: fontstretch="condensed"; letter-spacing="-1px"; (or em or %) neither work and th...

Solved it!
Solved it, but I still don't get it. The reason it works improperly in one and not the other is because of this statement: <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-strict.dtd"> That (which was generated by Style Master 3.5) ...

Hi Ruth, I actually had the line in but had not saved the last version. I still have the problem. If you got to this page: http://www.leicesterandleicestershire.com/ You will see the way it is supposed to look. But on this page: http://www.leicesterandleicestershire.com/indextmp.html which uses the ...

Dbl Floating Navbar
I am experimenting with a new CSS style sheet to upgrade the look of my site. Something in the new style sheet is causing the navbar to stop obeying: itemwidth="100"; The items are now sizing to suit the text throwing off the alignment of the two rows of items: The relevent pages follow: h...

I have T1 both at home and at work; however, the one at home is a lot slower as (apparently) we are right on the limit for line resistance. It is at home that I have noticed the Milonic box showing up where Home Page is supposed to be. I have moved the script as suggested and will see if that change...

Mr. Milonic keeps showing up
How come the Milonic box keeps showing up from time to time when I first go to a page containing the menu? I have to refresh the page (sometimes twice) before it will go away. Visitors ain't goin' to know that they should do that to see the home page link.

Thanks to help from maz and Kevin3442, I have this novel menu in place for anyone interested. Comments welcome about the menu (including ways to improve it). Re my site in general: I already know that my site is kinda dated (style-wise and code-wise). But hey, it is supposed to be a nostalgic site (...

Double menu bar set up OK (menus not finalized yet) but when I scroll they overlap. Have tried the various "followscroll" tweaks as per Kevin's suggestion but to no avail. I have set the new double menu up on a temporary home page:

Update
Just to let you know, I have updated to 5.02, sent in a request for a licence and placed a Milonic button on my home page (I will eventually put one on every page using the menu). Adding a 2nd row
Thank you both, but you assume I know more about this than I really do. Kevin you said "You may also wish to set the menuwidth property, so that each menu winds up being the same width, to appear to the user as if it was one menu with two rows." I don't really know how to do this. Also, ar...

Adding a 2nd row to a horizontal floating menu
I have a horizontal floating menu that is working just fine (see URL below), but I would like to add a second row to it. Do I have to go to a second menu (with all that entails) and position it just below the other one or is there a way to add the second row to the existing menu? http://www.leiceste...
