Oops...I should have updated last week. Our customer is actually using Windows 2000 Professional. I haven't got into many details with him. We'll likely be looking at it today. I think it's his company's proxy or some other network issue. I doubt if it's anything on our end, or the menu itself. Than...

Perhaps I posted slightly too soon...but perhaps not. I updated our development/test web server's menu to version 5.46. The menu appears every time (so far), even though I haven't added that particular server to the trusted sites list on my test SP2 machine. However, there is still a delay - sometim...

Windows XP SP2, popup blocker, script problems

I had a customer mention that our menu opens very slowly for him and his colleagues. (By slow, I mean it would take 30 seconds or so to show the submenus.) I gave him a list of 8-10 sites, randomly chosen from your list of DHTML menu users. They had no problems with any of those sites. We're using v...

Sorry if that came out like it was a menu problem...the PDF thing is completely separate. At least I hope it is!

BINGO You guys figured it out right as my colleague did. It was the word "Advertising" in the url. aI("text=Advertising;url=/markets/advertising/index.asp;"); now reads aI("text=Advertising;url=/markets/marketing/index.asp;"); I'll ask our tester if he is using the drea...

Well John, I think we're getting somewhere. My colleague has been experimenting with dozens of examples - he has the cooperation of someone who cannot see the menu on our corporate website. It looks like he's narrowed it down to one specific line: aI("text=Advertising;url=/markets/advertising/i...

oops...I haven't put the upgrade on the live server yet! I might try putting it in the body on the test server...but there are hundreds of pages to change, and I'm not the one who makes changes to the core part of the pages. I'm the database guy who's asked to fix other programming issues like this....

Randomly Disappearing Menu

I've done some searching, but nothing is specific enough to match my problem. Basically, sometimes some users don't see the Milonic menu bar on our site. There is no rhyme or reason as to who can and can't see the menu...different operating systems (Windows XP, 2000, possibly others), different Inte...
