Did some searching through the MozillaZine and they all indicate that they are CSS errors which is what I suspected (see the link in the first post).

Hopefully someone knows of a way to get rid of the messages in the console.

Error in parsing value for property 'width'.

When running Firefox and I have the Javascript error console open, I get a ton of errors that relate to the width property: Error in parsing value for property 'width'. Declaration dropped The menu works fine but it is hard to work with the Javascript error console with all these errors. I did a sea...

Viken, Thanks for the reply. The menu is not in a DIV actually. Here are the last few lines of code for the submenu: </div> </div> </div> <script type="text/javascript" src="/scripts/menuSystem.asp?index=0&mleft=296&mtop=161&sleft=9&stop=0"></script> <script type=...

I increased the text size form 10px to 11px and same effect. The text in the menu links does wrap (see the one for the Greater Niagara General Hospital). When the menu is rendered, it doesn't display the horizontal bar. Only when you click the mouse on an item (and only in Firefox).

John, Thanks for the reply. We want to keep the menu the same size as the 'Menu' graphic header. It also lines up the right side of the menu and the content area so I really am hoping for another type of solution. In the previous versions, the text just seemed to wrap properly without forcing the ho...

Horizontal Scroll Bar appears when user clicks on menu item

I use milonic for 2 menu's on my page and up until 5.746, they worked perfectly. With the new version, if someone clicks on by sub menu (top right corner of page, in green), it adds a horizontal scroll bar to the bottom of the menu just before the page is forwarded over. **EDIT** Forgot to say, it o...

Good stuff... it forces the scroll bar, but it looks better than the expanded ones.

Hi Ruth, Thanks for the reply. I would like to have the menu size the same no matter if there is one item or 10. If there is only a couple of items, then they should be listed at the top (not spaced out) like it was in all the previous versions. If there are enough items, the menu needs to scroll an...

Odd Menu Item Padding

I have just updated to 5.739 from 5.737 and I have a problem with what seems to be menu item padding in one of the menu's I have on my pages. First, I went from 5.737 to 739 because certain items would open in a new window, whether they were supposed to or not. 739 fixed that problem. But now I have...

404 Error Generated from Milonic?

Hello, I am getting 404 errors from what appears to be a portion of the Milonic menu on our system. We are now running 5.733 which I just installed from 5.724. I upgraded from 5.724 because I wanted to see if that would fix the problem. (Didn't) The 404 errors are being 'referred' by the mmenudom.js...

Ok, Here is what fixed it for me! :) I used the 5.724 Pre-release and also added the following to the flash: <PARAM NAME="wmode" VALUE="opaque"> and in the <embed> tag, I added wmode="transparent" With the 5.724 you don't need to use fixMozillaZIndex either. With the in...

Hi Ruth, That's actually the problem that is making it fixed. If I have the line included, then it is 'glued' to the screen. When I remove it, it scrolls off the page when the page scrolls (as it should). I would post an url, but it is still internal and can't be accessed from the internet. Thanks, ...

Just a me too message... :) I put in the update this morning .722 to fix a problem with flash overlapping some pages. Now the menus are fixed on the screen instead of scrolling off as the page moves. It would be nice to have both (above the flash and move off the page as the page scrolls). :) Shawn

Hi Ruth,

I wouldn't worry about it. If I were to do something like this, then it would have to be able to support IE/Netscape/Mozilla, etc... If it is just IE, then nahh... :)

I will check out the demo though.

Thanks for the input!

Microsoft Live Meeting Menu

Does anyone know or think they could set up a Milonic menu to do something like this:
PlaceWare byt Microsoft

Microsoft used Flash and they have some animation type of thing on their menu's but whe way the menu works is neat.

Andy, that worked 100%!

On some pages, it worked and others it didn't. So, I increased the itemheight to 30 and that seems to fix all of my examples.

Thank you for your quick response!
