I got it working with the top='offset=x'; parameter, but I wish there were a way to do it relative to the main menu.

Re: Horiz menu - need submenu to appear 5px below bottom
Is there a way to do it relative to the main menu? When I specify top='offset=5'; it makes my submenus show up 5 px from the top of the entire site, not 5 px from the top of the menu bar.

Horiz menu - need submenu to appear 5px below bottom
I have a site with a horizontal menu that is coded as: (more or less) <div id="container"> <div id="header"> <div id="logo">logo image</div> <div id="main-menu">(menu script)</div> </div> <div id="header-bar"></div> <div id="content">conten...

Re: Windows Vista menu?
Yea, that works, though I had to set the _menuOpenDelay to 0 so the menu worked smoothly. Otherwise, you could see the right border line being drawn and it looked messy.
Nice work... I might have to use that one.

Re: Windows Vista menu?
I wasn't sure how you could make a border that encompasses both the main menu and the submenus without a divider between them.

Re: Windows Vista menu?
I recently saw this menu too, and I thought that it was cool, but maybe not possible with Milonic. Is this one possible?

Re: Windows Vista menu?
I realize the top level menu is easy... image based, no problem. What I was getting at is how the submenus are built, Check them out. The first level submenu is horizontal and subsequent third is vertical.

Re: Lost my CSS opacity in FF
Thanks Andy. Question... what if I want to specify transparency only for the submenu, and not the main menu? Also, what about the on/off state? I only want transparency for the off state. The on state needs to be full opacity so when you move over menu items, the transparency effect is off.

Re: Lost my CSS opacity in FF
Oh I see... I removed the color parameters from the menu settings and the CSS takes over, and the opacity does work. However, the padding solution doesn't seem to solve the separator issue. When I apply a padding value as you suggested, it has to be exact otherwise the entire main menu doesn't fit p...

Re: Lost my CSS opacity in FF
I tried your fix, and though the opacity seems to have an affect on the darkness of the text, the background image doesn't show through the white background of the menu. Do I need to also modify any of the menu settings? I would also like to see a better fix for the IE problem than creating a separa...

Re: Lost my CSS opacity in FF
Well, I ended up rolling back to 5.748, which solved both the vertical alignment in the header, as well as the CSS opacity setting. Now the menus work like they did before I upgraded, though I wish I had time to figure out how to achieve the same results with the most recent menu code. http://www.jh...

Lost my CSS opacity in FF
http://www.jhcenterforthearts.org Not sure why, but my opacity setting is not working in FF after upgrading to 5.813. in my menu definition: offclass="mainMenu"; onclass="mainMenu"; in my CSS file: .mainMenu { font-family:Arial,Helvetica,san-serif; font-size:11px; color:#FFFFFF;...

Re: submenu border problems
OK, you're right about the separator... my mistake. That was the incorrect path to the image. I''m not sure what you're fix is actually fixing. It looks like you're pushing the main menu to the bottom of the header image. The main menuy is being drawn correctly... vertically centered in the header i...

Re: submenu border problems
Still not sure how to resolve the border/separator problems... seems to happen to all my menus after upgrading to the 5.813. Check out this site: http://www.jhcenterforthearts.org This site uses a .gif file to draw the separator, which no longer shows up. Also in IE (not in FF), the submenus draw be...

Re: submenu border problems
I'm having the same problem... submenu borders are not displaying. It must be related to "buildAfterLoad=true" which I needed to turn on in order for submenus to be displayed in IE. When I turn that off, borders appear in mozilla, but submenus don't appear in IE. I can add the onborder and...

pagematch with additional URL variables
Pagematch works fine on this page... it's within the "Programs" section: http://www.tetonconservation.org/index.cfm?id=erosion_control But then click on Ditch Checks... that link basically adds a couple URL variables to the same address: http://www.tetonconservation.org/index.cfm?id=erosio...
