Re: Moz-HTMLeditors and the table based menu.

I don't believe it has anything to do with with the Milonic-menu (only that I discovered this, when I tried to insert the menu like that), it's just that the Moz-editors don't want empty cells and those editors think, that if you have only <script>....</script> and/or <noscript>...</noscript> in tha...

Moz-HTMLeditors and the table based menu.

I noticed that even something simple like this <table> <tbody> <tr> <td><script type="text/javascript" src="menu/embedded_main_menu.js"></script></td> </tr> </tbody> </table> can give problems when you just want nothing else in that cell :? Netscape Composer 7.2 will add a <br> a...

Re: rtl-menu submenu position

As you spend so much time on helping me I made the changes you suggested (not online!). Tested with FF2, IE7, Opera 9, Safari 3. The height of the menubar is now correct in all browsers. First there was a unused space between the last menuitem en the rightend of the bar, that's fixed too. But FF: th...

Re: rtl-menu submenu position

Thanks for all the work you've done! You must have spend a lot of time on it. When I have time I will try you solution. Two screencaps for the scrollbar. The first shows the position of the submenu as you first visit "review" The second after you've visited it again. http://www.binnenvaart...

rtl-menu submenu position

(Sorry, altough it has been quite awhile a go since I first came here, my knowledge of English and computers is still limited  ) I've been playing around with the RTL-menu, it's great, but I noticed some things that were not 100% perfect. I'm using XP-sp2, Firefox 2, IE7. TESTPAGE . The menu is...

Netscape 7.2 scrollbar problem

I know nobody ever uses Netscape 7.2 anymore, so it's not very important, but you can't use the scrollbars!
If you put the cursor on the scrollbar, the menu will close.

Re: re-open menu

You should upgrade to the newest version. Make sure you keep the existing program files just in case there's any problem with the new version. It's 5.786 now. Sorry, I forgot (I'm much too busy with my site, still got work that will take me years, waiting.), but it's done. Also, you are using an un...

Re: re-open menu

Not anything I could figure out or set up.
Thanks for the answer.
A pity that it can't be done, but the menu works fine without it, so there's no big need to have something like that.
If this is a professional or above current license menu
No, it's a free one.

Thanks for the help, bye

Re: re-open menu

Thanks for the quick answer. As my submenus cover the text on the page, that won't work. What I want is this. When you have selected an item and the new page opens, the menu closes; only the top level is shown (as it works now) Now when you move the mousecursor back on the (toplevel of the) menu, al...

re-open menu

(Sorry, my English still hasn't improved.)
I have a menu, with a lot of submenus, that closes when you have made your selection. See here (top left cormer).
I would like to know if there's away to let the menu re-open on the point where you left it, on mouse-over.

It's realy great to have such a menu.

is a ; needed or not?

Just a simple question: is the ; at the end of menulines needed or not? A line like this: aI("showmenu=Services;text=Services;"); ends with ; But in the Vertical plain text Menu example you can see lines without ; at the end with(milonic=new menuname("Samples")){ overflow="s...

Version 5.771 still not 100% perfect in Firefox?

I noticed one of my problems was solved in the new release. All seems to be fine now. Only one thing is not 100% yet. http://www.binnenvaarttaal.nl/forum/menu%20raakt%20rand.jpg a small part of the last 'submenu' is hidden :? It happens in full-screen mode too. I use Windows XP sp2, Firefox 2.0.0.3 ...

You are right!
Thanks again!

If you move -overflow="scroll"- from the stylearea to the menuproperties, all works fine. (I just moved those from properties to styles  ).

I found some nice problem again. Here you can see my menu. As far as I know it works wonderful! Now here is the same menu again, but I added "orientation=horizontal" to the first item. (Don't use any of the links!) As long as you don't scroll down the page it works fine, but when you scrol...

Fine you liked my idea. In beginners/borders.html you have a nice collection of what you can do with seperators, borders and backgrounds, but most of the people won't have a look at that file, when they are just looking around on the web, to see if someone has a menu they like. Perhaps it's an idea,...
