Re: Menus on iPhone
I am personally using the iPhone 4 with AT&T service. I don't know which iPhone or iPad models my clients are using, but I can ask when I get complaints. I don't think there is a uniform "three clicks" required. I see inconsistent behavior. Some of my clients claim they can't get the m...

Re: Menus on iPhone
No, the menu at milonic.com does not work on iPhone. Without being too harsh, I'm really surprised at your lack of awareness on this issue. Most of the site owners I work with now have mobile devices "on their radar." Whether or not they should be worried about this really isn't relevant.....

Re: Menus on iPhone
The response I got from Milonic support was to try their new beta menu system, which is entirely different from the existing menu system.
Based on our own testing and feedback from our users, the current menu just doesn't work reliably on mobile devices.

Menus on iPhone
I'm trying to use my menus on iPhone, and getting odd behavior with submenus. It seems that I need to tap and hold for about a second. Sometimes when I tap, the submenu highlights but does nothing else.
Are other people seeing this problem? Is there a fix?

I spoke too soon - it worked!
It appears I had a bug in my code, but once I got it sorted out, I can indeed hide an Applet contained in a div.
Here's the proof:

Re: submenus hidden by Java Applet (form hiding ?)
no joy...
apparently Applets are not well behaved with regard to display, even when contained in a div. I can hide the div, but the Applet is still visible.

submenus hidden by Java Applet (form hiding ?)
From the research I've done, it seems there is not real solution to this, because Applets don't work with z-index. I'd like to simply hide the applet when the submenu pops up. I've seen references in the forum to a "form hiding" technique, but the links are broken. Can someone please expla...
