I have tried the syntax as per topbarimage = "images/arrowdn.gif"; topbarimageloc = "center;middle" subimage = "images/arrow.gif"; subimageloc = "center;middle" but still can only show subimage > on top menu and subs, not V arrow (top level) and > arrow when a...

I am use to the menu V3 syntax of:
"1, //follow scrolling" but, I have noticed that the vertical menu sample uses:

:( Sorry Andy.

I think the menu you require is Slidemenu2 from DHTMLCentral.com.
I tried it many moons ago and is not a patch on Andy's.

Hi cshontz
Nice menu. I have been using V3 menu for a while and at the moment I have a dedicated search page. Having the search form in the menu, I must admit, has not even crossed my mind.
To the point I hear you cry.
How did you add the form script to the menu ?

You should be able to use "itemwidth" e.g:

with(milonic=new menuname("about")){_c=1
itemwidth = 200;
borderwidth = 1;
style = mainStyle;

Many thanks Andy.
I still have not really "played" with the menu too much, but for me the "hopping" and submenu issues I experienced have now been fixed.

Just out of curiosity, which menu uses the "mmenuns4.js" file.

module updates ?

It was not hard to work out what .js are needed for each menu example. For a horizontal menu I needed: horizontal_data.js, milonic_src.js and mmenudom.js. To the point I here you cry !! I do understand that in Beta, the script is in a state of constant change, so, when upgrading from a previous beta...

I have just started "playing" with V4, and it is great. Have found a couple of bugs/ or me not configuring it correct, and left them on the V4 section.
Again Many Thanks

Further observations

On the horizontal menu, if you move down a submenu and then back up to the top, the submenu then reapears on the far left of the main menu.

Keep up the good work

Andy and Co, you have done it again. I know it is still only in a Beta stage at the moment, but it looks great and configures even better. :D Apart from a couple of minor problems with images and their use, it works a treet. Not a request for help at the moment. The only main issue I have at the mom...

First of all, Great Menu :D . I have changed the horizontal menu demo to :- //top = 74; //left = 3; //itemwidth=60 //menuwidth="99%"; borderwidth = 1; screenposition = "center"; The menu now appears nicely centered at the top of the screen but, when first loaded or refreshed the ...

Thank you for the reply, URL is http://www.maxview.ltd.uk. I am currently using version 3.5.12 of the script and until now never had a problem. Doing an update ?

Do you know if anyone has added the "mad_toaster" addition to the later versions of the mmenu.js file or is it a wait for version 4?
