You've given us the address if we were connected to your company network.

You need to give us a web address, which means you need to put your files on an external web server.

I usually just remove the URL and add a grey colour to the items.

However, it would be nice if there was a feature that automatically made the menu item grey if there was no URL.

Are you double-clicking on the file? Try loading your photo application first and then using file..open to open the file.

JS query (non Milonic related)

I'm trying to create a page that displays the computer name and user's log on name on the screen with a bit of Javascript. I've got the page to work: http://www.flhs.wigan.sch.uk/test/test.htm but have two problems. When running locally I get a message asking if I want to run the ActiveX script. Whe...

It's been a while since I used IFRAMEs, but I think you just use TARGET=<framename> after your URL.

From what I can tell (of their JS files), they are using an unlicensed version of the menu - V5.3. A source check shows links to version 3.3.19.

Hacked Website

Came into work this morning to find someone had changed the Milonic Menu on our website. I am still looking into who and how, as our web space is provided by our city council. The only thing which seems to have been altered was the menu_data.js file, which I have listed below if anyone recognises it...

You need to look at relative positioning, see sample 9.

It's because you have set your main page to be centred. You don't notice this in 800x600 because it fits the page correctly, but in 1024x768 it looks nicer to have it spaced equally.

Thanks Milonic

Thanks to Milonic's menu system, our high school recently won a national UK award for "Best Secondary School ICT Project"!
