I have a menu item named "Logout" and would like to know how to code this so it just closes the page that the menu is on, not link to another page. I thought this was the javascript code but I must have something wrong - it doesn't work. aI("text=Logout;oncolor=#FF0000;offcolor=#00000...

Re: Change part of the text color in in link code ?

Hi Ruth !

Well, I was using ( " ) this instead of this ( ' ) in my color tag, which was not allowing the menu to show at all (dah). Haven't made any changes to my menu for a long time, need to brush-up on it I guess

Working now with your help...

Thanks alot!!!

I guess I hadn't noticed it before, but even on Milonics home page, when you mouse over any of the menu headers the "javascript:;" is shown. I will just remove the targetfeatures= from my menus and place the code in the linked window to handle the window open features, such as top, left, h...

I removed it but it still shows the javacript:; in the status bar.

Well, probably the same thing I missed :)

Notice the properties you are listing in the url for the window, one is status=yes. That probably is what is showing in the status bar.

status bar show "javascript;"

I am using the newest version of Milonic Menus: Using Windows XP sp2 OS: I noticed when I mouse over the menu tabs the word "javascript;" (without the quote marks) shows up in the status bar of my browser. Everything works fine and no javascript error showing but I think it has to do with ...

Thanks Ruth, Kevin, and Andy...

Andy has fixed this problem in pre-release 5.727. I tried it out and it no longer adds a page scrollbar - great job!

Thank you all :D

Hi Kevin, I did correct the syntax to ignoreCollisions=true; however, that didn't fix the problem. Anyway you can bring this to Andy's attention? Hi Rudy, I see the problem in IE6. Your reasoning that's it's a recently introduced bug seems sound to me, although I can't confirm that. Not that I know ...

Ruth, I tried your suggestions and placed _ignoreCollisions=true in the top of the menu_data.js file, but unfortunately that didn't fix the problem. I typed the ignoreCollisions=true in as shown above, as the other entries started with an underscore and do NOT have a semi-colon after them. Seemed to...

Ruth, Using IE 6.0 I removed the 3 milonic files from the 5.726 release and uploaded the 3 milonic files from release 5.724 and the problem goes away. I went from release 5.724 to 5.726, so I'm not sure if this bug started with release 5.725 or 5.726. Anyway, definately a bug problem here. Note: I d...

Release 5.726 causing scrollbar on page that shouldn't be.

I noticed that after uploading the files for the 5.726 release, the following problem exists-this was not present in early releases: Note: you will need to set your screen resolution to 800x600 to see the problem. If you mouse over the first item on the menu (titled "Motherboards") and the...
