Can you edit it like it should read for centered?

Try...

Yes, you can - or just try a plain <br> in your text to break it where you want.

First thing I'd do is get current :!: 3.4.12 is up now - lots of bug fixes.

Not the expert here and don't know if this makes a difference, but your style definitions are a bit different than what I see in the release files. Here's one from Andy... style1=[ // style1 is an array of properties. You can have as many property arrays as you need. This means that menus can have t...

Forgot - every time the menu items move down the page the script appears to be reloading them from the server (lots of status bar activity). Tried putting in a preload images script but that didn't help.

Latest in the saga... Did up a new page where I have split the single menu bar graphic into 5 pieces, 1 for each menu item. See http://webdev.west.asu.edu/sai/test2.cfm (please). The menus all drop as they should and function properly - in the initial position. Squeeze up the page so it becomes scro...

FWIW, Netscape doesn't support us (at least in 4.x), so why should we support them? It's way too much trouble to write NS-specific code just to get the simplest things to look right, especially given their great market share! ;) I'm trying to dump it here and only support 6 and above.

Thanks, Wan. However I noticed that neither of the menus on those pages follow down the page, which is something I need. Using individual images for each of the 5 main menu items is probably the answer, but something I haven't figured out yet.

Graphic as scrollable menu...

Trying to get a graphic used as the main menu to follow the user down the page. Actually I have done that part, but the real problem comes in getting the single graphic to act as 5 individual menu items. See http://webdev.west.asu.edu/sai/test.cfm for the current mess. Style2 defines the main menu a...

Thanks, Andy. Will make the modification when I get back (badly needed vacation this week!).

However, the failure is only with the X/5.2 combination. XP & 2K/IE6 work fine as is.

OS X & IE 5.2 scrolling

Under this combination and 3.4.12 the scroll starts off fine but does not wind up in its proper place (top of the menu a few px below the top edge of the window). If you scroll up a piece of the menu is torn off and left behind. Fails at http://www.west.asu.edu/cspc/e-steps/selfdisc2.htm and also th...

Andy, I'm seeing exactly what he describes. I've got the main window shortened way up. The initial scroll down goes about 6-8 items (my window length), stops, and then as soon as you move off the down arrow almost every item in the menu blanks out except for about half of the top line item (backgrou...

I just set up my first 'scroller' last week and, under the same setup as you, initially had exactly the same problem - the menu would scroll down the screen but when trying to stop it would have a siezure. Unfortunately I can't tell you exactly how I fixed it, but now it's working as advertised. I t...

Topic: getting rid of menu shadow?

The shadow comes from the effect statement (as supplied in the default download)...

Shadow(color='#777777', Direction=135, Strength=5)

Either remove that, or remove 'effect' from your menu definitions (only if you want no effects).
