Re: strange underlines
I don't see what you are talking about, but I do see you have odd alignment issues. What browser(s) are you testing with?

Re: Beta 3 is ready for testing.
<HTML>Andy, I've noticed a minor issue to bring to your attention using IE5.5 on NT4. In the beta menu, under samples, if you slowly move the cursor from one submenu item to the next one below it, I notice that: The following enu item get high-lighted even thought the hand pointer's finger is still ...

Re: adjusted spaces between menu point
Far as I know, it's a one-size-fits-all width setting. However there is a bit of fine tuning that can be done to take the edge of the logsidedness. For example it you set Screen Position to "center", the word NEWS would be in the center of its setting. So would the other menu options. But ...

Re: Conflicting JS
Arh - OverLib. Right, there is a slight conflict between these two scripts. Overlib will take over the mouse position code so as long as you don't want to display menu items by mouse position this should work. Try updating your mmenu.js file with the one found at http://www.milonic.co.uk/menu/beta/m...

Please DON'T! - was Re: Please dump old browser support
Please Don't drop old browser support! Yeah the browsers are free, but the OS's and the hardware to run them are not. A LOT of users have older machines with old browser versions on them for whatever reasons. Yeah it is a pain in the ass, but if you want these people to visit your websites then you ...

No problem, here's the code I used in my page to get the menu working in Netscape 4.7, 6.2, and IE 6.0 (browsers I tested it with): <body ...> <SCRIPT language=JavaScript src="lib/menu_array.js" type=text/javascript></SCRIPT> <SCRIPT language=JavaScript src="lib/mmenu.js" type=te...

Re: BETA 2 is now ready !!
<HTML>Netscape renders font sizes differently - a bit smaller - than IE, if you look at the beta menu page with NS (4.61 on NT) you will note that the menu does not fill the width of the cell, as IE (5.5) does. I think I've seen a workaround that increases font sizes for NS purposes - perhaps this c...

Page margins vs. CSS with menu
Your menu script is awesome, Andy. I've tried three and yours is by far the easiest to configure and maintain. I'm doing a beta test with it for my employer's intranet, and so far, only one problem.
If I specify page margins within the HTML code, the menu

<HTML>Arh yes, forgot about that.

At the top of mmenu.js type this

Anywhere will do, just as long as ww exists as a variable that should fix it.

Re: BETA 2 is now ready !!
<HTML>Hi, The reason the menu goes "up and away" is because it's top and left positions have been set OFF screen. The menu only becomes visible because it gets glued to the table cell. By setting the menu to Follow Scrolling it gets set to it's default position which is something like -100...

<HTML>Andy,
The Toggle follow scrolling when clicked still causes the menu to scroll up beyond the top border of the window (IE 5.5 NT4).
Top level menu items have no separators between them (perhaps by design?)
