What is the status of the "overallwidth" menu prop
Your search facility (probably not absolutely up-to-date as I write this) returns a link to < http://www.milonic.com/menuproperties.php > for the word "overallwidth" variable that, some time ago, was found under no. 18 (as far as I can remember) but did not seem yet implemented. It no long...

RC12: "Itemwidth" variable still broken
As I reported on 24 September about RC11 < http://www.milonic.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2619&sid=9e44a1ad61542590b91cda893135e663 >, the trick to cause the menu bar to extend to the right end of the screen is still broken in RC12 (adding the following line of code as the last menu entry). aI(&...

RC11: idemwidth command appears to be broken
When I installed RC5 some time ago, either hergio or jgillett suggested that, until the "overallwidth" variable is implemented, I should be using the following as an additional main menu line after my main menu entries. aI("text=;itemwidth=100%;onbgcolor=#cc9933;offbgcolor=#cc9933;onc...

Providing details of version history
Would it be possible for Andy to provide the version history of version 5 on the page http://www.milonic.co.uk/menuvinfo.php as he did for version 3? It would be nice to simply go to this page to check if there is a more recent release candidate or version. Going to http://www.milonic.co.uk/download...

Placing scriptpath in user file rather than in milonic_src
I upgraded a few days ago from RC5 to RC9. It occurred to me that it would be much more simple for the user if one could specify the scriptpath variable in the user-customizable file rather than in milonic_src.js. Having the variable in a file that changes with each upgrade means that one has to upd...

Forum always sends notification twice (one with SpamAssasin)
I would like to draw the attention of the forum's administrators to the fact that notification of a reply is always done by means of two messages. The first one is addressed to the user, the second has nothing in the "To:" line. It contains a SpamAssassin report following the contents of t...

Plea for the "overallwidth" variable
Andy, From a thread of conversation I had earlier today with Hergio, it seems that you have not yet implemented the "overallwidth" variable which is listed in the Menu properties at http://www.milonic.com/menuproperties.php (but without explanatory text). I have upgraded to version 5 (RC6)...

I created a roberge subdirectory where I copied my entire site. I have updated Dreamweaver's settings so that my local site start in d:\roberge\gdrm, which matches the path on the server. I changed my template, using the folder icon to set the reference. The path for the js files now reads: <script ...

Hergio, Both directory structures are exactly similar. I have copied index.htm as well as the three js files from my local site to the server at http://www.mus.ulaval.ca/roberge/gdrm/index.htm . The references to the new menu are for now only in index.htm. This means that loading any of the pages re...

installation problem ("scriptpath" variable)
I have installed version 5 in "d:\gdrm\version5\" for testing purposes. The files milonic_src.js, mmenudom.js, and mmenuns.js are located in that directory. My personalized file, updated to version 5 format (menugdrm.js) is also in that directory. My index page, also located in the same di...

I have used Hergio's code to prevent my menu from being printed. What it does it to print the menu entries without the darker background. This is OK with me, but there is curiously a big backslash covering the entire height of the menu bar being printed at the very left. I am using an HP LaserJet 22...

Ctrl-F in IE 6.0 SP1 finds a string located in menu text
I am using IE 6.0 SP1 with version 3.5.07 of the menu. When I type Ctrl-F to search for a string in a given page, there are cases when pressing Alt-F or clicking Find Next in the dialog box seems not to respond. What happens is that IE has found an occurrence of that string in the text of one of my ...

IE 6.0 crashes when printing page with menu under HP 2200d
I am using IE6.2600.000 with all the recent security patches and printing with an HP LaserJet 2200d using the PCL6 driver dated 14 June 2002 (version 4.3.2.192). I can print everything flawlessly, with one major exception. If I attempt to print a page contaning a Milonic menu (version 4.5.01), inclu...
