followscroll = "0"

Post by howe »

Hi,
I use ver 5.35. On one site I have had followscoll on (1) but now the content is so large that some users who still use 800x600 can't get to the bottom. So I set followscroll = to 0 and it still follows, ie, the menu comes down as I scroll up. This was great, but need to shut it off.
I have tried three browsers, emptied cache, changed a menu value to ensure I was editing the correct file and rebooted, all with no ability to turn of the scroll.
Suggesions welcome.

NEVERMIND followscroll = "0"

Following the rule that within 1 minute of posting a request for help you will solve the problem I just removed the reference to followscroll rather than set it to "0" and now the menu stays at the top where I want it. I am happy. You may resume your normal activities and ignore the bonehead.

Not a bonehead, especially when you post your find for others! Thanks a lot. :)
