Highlighting current Menu Item

Post by wul »

Hi,
Is there a way to have the primary level menu item be highlighted based on the user's state. For example, my hierarchical menu-ing system contains "Home", "Links", "More Info". Each of these have another level. I selected from an item listed in the Links menu. Is there a way to have the Links menu item be displayed with a different color to differentiat from the rest?

Yes, there is a version of Milonic that does this. It was called Mad Toast when I installed it. I assume that the new version 5, about to be released, will include it.

You can see it working at, eg.

I can even fool the system into having the same page on different subject areas, and highlight a different part of the menu, because I do sometimes want to offer the same page under different topics.

Best wishes

Hi Tony,
Very Cool! That is exactly what I was looking for.
I browsed thru the Milonic site and can't seem to find that "Mad Toast" version. Could you point me to its downloadable location?
