Mozilla menu scrolling problem

Post by axiom »

Not sure if anyone else has run across this problem so here goes:
With Mozilla 1.2, Mozilla 1.4 and Mozilla Firebird 0.6 when a page is scrolled down the menu seems to increase the amout it scrolls down. So once you scroll to the bottom of a page the popout menu is no longer available (because it is back up towards the top of the page).

Page:

I have not changed much of the defaults in the RC4 version.

Menu array:

I should probably also mention I have no problems with IE or Opera. I also just checked Netscape 7.1 and it has the same problem.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, hopefully it is just a configuration problem on my part.

Thanks
Justin

We are aware of this and are working on a fix.

With regard to Firebird, although a superb browser, there are still a few issues with it. It's still a beta at 0.6 and I'm not sure at what point we can support it fully but we will once we are convinced they won't change anything in the future like what Opera do all the time.

Thanks for the information. I wasn't sure if anyone was aware of the problem. Firebird was the least of my worries, I just wanted to let you know it was pretty much all of the Mozilla code base. Thanks again for the reply.

Yep, I upgraded to RC4 the other night and now I'm seeing this problem with Netscape 7.1. With RC3 everything was fine.
