Milonic Link only shows up sometimes

Post by jbreslow »

I have a questions regarding the Milonic link that shows up on an un-licensed version of the menu. I'm in the process of getting a license for the menu, but I'm curious why the Milonic link only shows up on some computers but not others.

I didn't think I had a problem with it showing up until I saw it on a co-workers computer. It's not on anybody elses computer just theirs. How come?

Thanks

That sounds REALLY odd because the milonic menu link was removed in the free versions of the menu. You should either see it or not. Try downloading the latest releases and update all your source files ( milonic_src, mmenudom, mmenuns4 ) and then see if that fixes it.

Their computer probably still has the old menu files in the cache.

A full refresh of the browser or a physical emptying of the cache should solve the problem.

Do you have a license for the menu?

If not, that's why the link is still there

You now have me confused :( about the license and the Milonic menu link.

Hergio states "That sounds REALLY odd because the milonic menu link was removed in the free versions".

Then Andy states:

Do you have a license for the menu?

If not, that's why the link is still there.

Will the real "Menu Link" please stand up :?:

This is how it goes.

You can download the menu as usual as long as you are registered with the site and it comes with the milonic link. To get it removed, you must apply for a free license (providing a url for milonic to see) if you qualify for a free license. See the license info to see who qualifies for free licenses. Once you get the free license, you get the no-link menu. Otherwise you have to purchase a regular pro license. Without a license (free/pro/higher), you get the link. Got it?
