Is it possible to lock a menu

Having problems with DHTML Menu? There is usually somebody here who knows the answer.

Is it possible to lock a menu to a specific area within a page, even if the resolution changes?

Yes by giving it top and left coordinate properties. See the milonic homepage for the reference guides and numerous examples. Or even viewtopic.php?t=2981
