Effects Filter not working on Server

Post by Nolly »

I am sure that the effects filter was working on my Website but now it is not. What is very strange is that the effects filter works when the page is displayed locally. It is the same browser being used in both cases (IE V6).
The local pages/files are the same as those uploaded to the Website.

The site is,

OK, I have found the problem. I had a recent issue whereby some company (they will remain nameless) downloaded/installed software without my express consent. In resolving that issue, I disabled the following,

Run ActiveX controls and plug-ins

So note,

If this is disabled in IE security (I am using IE 6), then the effects filter will not work.

Thanks for clearing that up, nice work. And thanks for coming back and letting us know exactly what was the problem. Always appreciated. :D
