Problem with Menu v5.70 in IE 6.0.2800 on Windows XP

Post by rcranswick »

I have just upgraded one of my clients web sites with v5.70 of the menu. When I viewed the site with IE (version in the subject). I get a Javascript error 'Invalid Argument' and the menu does not display.

It seems to work fine with Opera v7.52.

I have created two examples with Menu v5.691 and v5.70

v5.691 - http://www.cic.com.ky/menu5691/
v5.70 - http://www.cic.com.ky/menu570/

Does anyone see what's wrong?

Thanks.

Hi,

Try downloading 5.7 again, this time should work.

Cheers

I didn't see a drawMenus(); in there...

You're right John, there wasn't a drawMenus() in my menu_data.js file. This just contained my sub menus. The main menu was in main_menu.js which did have drawMenus().

This was always fine before and what ever happened when I downloaded the v5.70 menu again seemed to have fixed the issue.

Anyhow, I have added drawMenus() into menu_data.js as well now.

Thanks the the responses gents.

Welcome, as always. Glad it's working.

For a while there were 3 5.7 releases floating around - the pre-release, a 'final' today, and then another final. Not sure if Andy fixed another bug or just did another build between the two finals.

I think the one that fixed it was the final, final release! 8O
