Uncontrollable display behavior in Firefox

Post by ixai2 »

The menu is at http://www.ninsight.at
I am using milonic Version 5.71

The menu has a display problem when it is loaded into Firefox 1.0 for the first time or after clearing the cache (it does not display the menu). To see the menu, you have to select some of the text links at the bottom of the page in order to navigate to another page of my site (all pages are using the same menu). Usually on the second loaded page, the menu is displayed correctly. You can then come back to the first page and the menu displays correctly now.

When you continue surfing the site, sometimes (not really reprodrucible) the menu is not displayed again. This happens for example when you select the items to the right on page http://www.ninsight.at/bioSamplesDrugElutingStent.shtml under 'Stenting', 'Fluid-structure-interaction' and so on.

I have observed this behavior only in Firefox 1.0 (both Win and Mac). It does not happen in Safari, IE, Opera 6 and Opera 7.

Best regards and thanks for your help,
Michael

Try putting all the menu JS calls (7 lines in your case) as the first items after the body tag.
