Milonic Menu Users List

Post by jimsohn »

Possibly my search isnt correct in finding the Wesley United Methodist Church website in the users list. I have searched for Wesley and got two hits, neither of which was my Church site. What do I need to do to get http://www.gbgm-umc.org/wesley-va/ on the users list?

"Please note that all licenses come with free user editable links in our users list that has excellent page rank and will help boost hits to all websites using our menu system. "

Hi Jim,

If you login and visit http://milonic.com/mylicenses.php and click on the license number you wish to add you'll be directed to the edit my license page.

To add your site simply check the "Publish this website on the public users list" box and add your site's details.

Thanks Marty, I now have the site listed per your instructions. I do have one problem. My my site, http://www.gbgm-umc.org/wesley-va , is listed on the license page as a FREE (186030) license which doesnt permit editing/publishing. I listed my my site with the professional license and it gets published as http://www.gbgm-umc.org which is in fact the url assigned to my site on the license page 197077. However when I download the menu components my full address is listed as below (which is correct):
License Details:
Number: 197077
URL: http://www.gbgm-umc.org/wesley-va
Type: Professional
Dated: Saturday February 12 2005

Is there some way that I can get the complete url listed on the Milonic published website pages: URL: http://www.gbgm-umc.org/wesley-va
vs the one that has only URL: http://www.gbgm-umc.org/ which is the MAIN url for the United Methodist Church.

I need to get the existing listing removed from the milonic list since it is not my website but the MAIN url for the United Methodist Church.

Sorry to be causing so much trouble.javascript:emoticon(':?')

Hi Jim,

I think I finally sorted everything out.

Your professional license was registered for http://www.gbgm-umc.org/ and your free license for http://www.gbgm-umc.org/wesley-va/ which is why the link was being flagged as free. I've had to delete the free license because it was causing conflict and change the url on your pro license.

Hopefully, everything is now in order.

Thanks Marty, that did it. Whether the license was marked free or professional wasn't a concern to me. What concerned me was the link was to the Main UM Church site vs my local site http://www.gbgm-umc.org/wesley-va/.

All is WELL now, and thanks for your expertise.!

Our site (http://www.mitomed.se. "Mitochondrial Medicine Center") is also not on the users list  (or maybe I am just very poor at searching).

I have a free licence (194857), but when I try to "publish" I simply get "Your support appears to have expired. You'll need to renew your support before you can edit the list details".

I suppose this has something to do with it being a free licence? (Although I have noticed a great number of unlicenced sites on the list, but those maybe were added manually?)

For me it does not matter all that much whether our site is on the list, but I guess you guys would want to list as many as possible. Spread the word, and all that... :D

Lesson, I think you need to contact support [at] milonic, or marty [at] milonic. I think those unlicensed ones might have been from before, but I'm not sure on that.

Hi Leeson,

Free license holders are currently unable to publish directly to the list so I've added your entry maually. Let me know if there are any further problems..

Yes, I figured it had to do with the free licence. Thanks Marty for putting us on the list, 9 hits already :D
