Transparency Problem

Transparency Problem

I'm using the menu on a demo site http://www.clients.sjidesign.com/ushop/demo/index.html and on my PC it displays perfectly but one two others (they are both laptops using Windows XP) then the menu goes very transparent when dropping over text or graphics. Seems it happens in both Netscape and Explorer.

Does anyone know how to cure this problem?

A friend reports a similar problem on my menu with IE6 on windows XP - the text of the page is showing through into the menu.

Do you think changing the 'filter' value will make a difference? Unfortunately I don't have IE6 to test it instantly.
