Netscape 6/Mozilla and OPERA visual bug

Please note that official support for this menu version has now ceased. There are still plenty of users, though, and the forum is still running. Some of our long-time users may be able to help you out.

Netscape 6/Mozilla and OPERA visual bug

Post by xMANIGHTx »

I'm having troubles again with the menu in the browser I mentioned in the title of this topic
If I open the page with IE6 the menu fits perfectly into the blue table, if I open with the other browser, it seems that the menu "pushes" down the blue table.

Any hints? TIA

Hi,

Same problem in Netscape7.

I know Netscape hates faulty HTML coding...
There's is a closing </form> tag without a starting one .. maybe that's the cause ??

Cheers,

Nope  I removed the "faulty" </form> tag.. but.. I think it has something to do with the way the DHTML is handled by the menu code?...

It seems I still can't solve this compatibility issue.
Since I'm sure the menu has been tested with netscape 7 and Mozilla and Opera 6, I wonder where could the bug be?
The HTML is quite plain... even the gfx (and this is a miracle) and proportions of the site are mantained cross-browser, why should the menu "push-down" the table instead of appearing "inside of it"? :?:
