OnClick url when menu item has a submenu

Please note that official support for this menu version has now ceased. There are still plenty of users, though, and the forum is still running. Some of our long-time users may be able to help you out.

OnClick url when menu item has a submenu

Post by Mike Carroll »

I want to have a url associated with a menu item even when the menu item has a sub menu. So when the user mouses over the menu item a popup submenu appears but also when the user clicks the menu item the url is invoked.

This functionality is possible with the http://www.twinhelix.com code. Unfortunately the twinhelix code does not work with some browser types. I am hoping to find a menu system that supports the features I require and provides the cross browser capabilities I also require.

Is this functionality supported by the milonic DHTML Menu (ver 3.5 or V4 Beta)?

I checked it out but I cannot see how it can be accomplished.

It's available in both versions.

With V3 you need to put your link into the Alt URL slot, it's the array slot just after where you entered "show-menu=xxxx"

With V4 you specify both a url and show-menu parameters within the same string
