I purchased the menu today but I am unable to download the file at the given link. I login, then I can given a url to download the menu sample. But this link gives me a 404 url not found error message.

You are getting it from download.php right? If you are getting the error there, try right clicking on the link and selecting 'save target as...'. Also what browser are you using?
This sounds like a problem you should email Andy directly about since its NOT a menu specific problem and more of an account problem.
