DHTML Menu version 3.3.19 - Question !!?

Please note that official support for this menu version has now ceased. There are still plenty of users, though, and the forum is still running. Some of our long-time users may be able to help you out.

DHTML Menu version 3.3.19 - Question !!?

Post by radalla »

:) -- I am trying to insert your menu for a test in my blog web-site.
I want to show one of those sub-menus a little bit higher than the others one. If I tell the sub menus to go higher (suboffset_top=10;), all submenus ll go the amount.
But I am just one of those.
Ex.
addmenu(menu=["technonews",
,,110,1,"",style1,,"left",effect,,,,,,,,,,,,
,"TechWeb","http://www.cnn.com",,,0
,"News.com","http://www.news.com",,,0
,"Wired News","http://www.wired.com",,,0
,"Slashdot","http://www.slashdot.com",,,0
])

Where should I tell in it that this sub-menu should be shown ?

Tks and Rgs

You really can't do that (correct me if I am wrong, andy). Its not coded into the menu. Sorry, version 5 doesn't support that either. What you can try though is creating an entirely separate menu and then just placing it where you want it. Sorry again.

Yep, I thought about that. I tried to creat a new style for this submenu, but the creating of the new style does nos impact in the position of the submenu..
If you guys have any idea..pls let me know..

That sounds like a neat feature that could someday be rolled into version 5 and beyond. The ability to set the offsets globally, but in individual cases, you could override these offset values and have menus appear slightly different and offset. Hmm.
