Base Target not for all links

Please note that official support for this menu version has now ceased. There are still plenty of users, though, and the forum is still running. Some of our long-time users may be able to help you out.

Base Target not for all links

Post by amps5000 »

I want to create a HTML frameset page
the java script menu is in top.htm
I put it there it works, but there is one thing, I do not want to put the
---> target=mainFrame for every link
The first link: Home should be not linked to the mainFrame, bec then
the whole page would be shown in mainFrame
So what i have to do pls,
Have i to put other other java instruction in menu.js or array_menu.js?
Thanx.

Hi,

I've moved this post to the Archived Version 3 section. Version 3 is no longer supported nor developed. It hasn't been in development in years, and with the advent of Version 5 support has been eliminated except in the archive [most of us wouldn't have any idea how to set up version 3].

There is a frames module for version 5 so you can use version 5 with frames. If you download the new version in the zip file you'll see extras\frames to the right of some of the times, that is the frames sample. There is also a Version 5 Frames Demo with explanation of how to set it up.
