Can I postition the menu as "50"pixed gap form the bottom?

You can use the offset value for this.

try setting your Top position to "offset=-50"

Have you tried setting Screen Position to "bottom".

This will put your menu at the bottom of the page. If you use to "offset=-50" for the Top value it will place the menu 50 pixels from the bottom of your page.

Or is this not what you need?
