License / Upgrade Question

Post by MartynS »

Hi

I've been using version 3 on my site for 1 1/2 years now (It's wonderfull)
I have a free licence - (Buckingham, Winslow and District Scouts)

but should I upgrade to 5 ?

Do I need to get a new license ?
Is it going to cost me £5 ?

Is it worthwhile ?
If yes does anyone have any tips ?

Thanks in advance

Thank you!

Absolutely! v3 is no longer developed or supported.

Yes, but since you already have a free license it won't be a problem. Include your current license number and URL when you apply.

Umm, no - that's why it's free... :)

Without question. More features than you can count, more browsers supported, as mentioned no more support on v3, etc.

About what? If install, just follow the included docs.

This might be a silly question - probably is knowing me

If I upgrade to version 5 - as have a free license I will get a link to Milonic as item 2 on my menu.

Which I don't really want - so am I being forced into buying a full version ?

The old version did not enfoce this it just asked for a link - Which I quite happly provide (and recommend it to anyone I know)

Yes I know it's only £23 - but I all ready have arguements about the price of hosting/Domain names.
