Menu On Milonic.com is VERY buggy in Opera 7.2

Post by konky2000 »

Check out this screen shot of the Milonic.com website as it appears in Opera 7.2. As you can see the dropdown menu for support spans across the entire screen sometimes. Other times, the menu appears all the way to the left side of the screen?

It is a shame, becuase I was initially interested in the Milonic menu because it worked so well in Opera, but now I'm not so convinced.

Can someone explain why the menu on Milonic's own site looks like this?

I run Opera 6.0 and 7.2 and I do not see the problem. I do have some problems with 6.0 on other issues, but with the display of Milonic home page, as you are having. Do you have problems with other sites??

I don't generally have problems surfing the web. My own implimentations of the menu work fine, but I am able to replicate the behavior of the menu on Milonic.com's homepage on both my desktop running Opera 7.2, and on my laptop running Opera 7.23.

I believe you, it just that I am writing this response to you using Opera 7.21 and I am having no problems with the Milonic main page.

I do not have an answer. Sorry.

Every (and I mean Every) release of Opera breaks something or another this is why they have so many fixes.

It's getting imposisble for us to keep up with them.

I'll look into it though.

I understand that it is impossible to keep up with Opera.

For what its worth here are a couple more pictures of things going wrong:

In general it is inconsistent. But definately the item for Support often is out of whack. Some of the other sub menus appear far to the left or to the right, but then might work if I pass the mouse over them again.

Is the menu on Milonic's own site is the most recent menu release?
Is it absolutely or relatively positioned?

Version 5.05 has just gone up with what I hope should be a fix.
