Ok, I have a menu. I have a certian font that I like to have, but whenever someone has there text size different ( IE: View -> Text Size -> Size) it changes the text in the menu. When doing this, it makes the menu out of proportion. Is there a way to lock the text size and to stop it from being changed so my menu doesnt go out of proportion?

You don't really want to be locking the font size. It could leave you open to claims of discrimination if visually impaired users cannot make changes.
I'm not sure where you are based but in the UK the Disability Rights Organisation are making a big deal out of inaccessable websites. We could potentially be legally forced to make changes.

Andy's correct, especially if you are a commercial, gov, school etc. site. If you are a personal site and are just looking for keeping the design as you like, you can set the font to a pixel size, BUT, if you do then I suggest you provide a site menu either at the bottom of the page, say a footer that's the same on all pages, or a link to a sitemap or something which will readjust in size for the visually impaired.

Like so:Ruth wrote:...you can set the font to a pixel size...
In your menu style, set
Code: Select all
fontsize="10px";

Yea. I understand completely. But, I dont think to many people that are visually impaired are going to be looking at web design and development sites. Anyway, Im from the U.S., and I never heard of that Disability Rights Organization. I will figure something out If i recieve complaints. Anyway thanks for helping, Its works.

It's a UK organisation.
http://www.drc-gb.org/
This is from their site:
Many disabled people find it impossible to book a holiday, open a bank account or buy theatre tickets online, an investigation by the Disability Rights Commission (DRC) into web access will reveal today.
And at the conclusion of the first comprehensive investigation into the user friendliness of websites - covering Government, business, leisure, web services and e-commerce websites - the DRC issued a stern warning that swathes of businesses may not be complying with existing equal access laws and it was ‘only a matter of time’ before they faced legal challenge from disabled consumers.
