Sub-menus to open UPWARDS

Hi guys--

RE http://our.homewithgod.com/spr/

Is there a way to "absolutely position" the lower horizontal menu and still have the sub-menus expand UP?

I've currently got it set for "bottom", but:

1. makes it harder to align with the vertical menu, as is evident. I could resolve this (on mine) by ...

Menu not visible in Netscape 4

Menu examples say usable on Netscape 4.x, but--after hours and hours of trying--found the following error message.

RE

<script language="JavaScript" src="menu_array.js" type="text/javascript"></script>

Attribute TYPE not supported by Netscape 3.x, 4.x, or IE 3.x, 4.x.

Well?

Hi guys--

The top left picture is coded in the HEAD.
Could that be screwing up Netscape?

Hi Kevin--

I've added "Request Form" to the bottom Menu. (so 3 Menus now instead of 4)

Trying to decide what to do with the left one. Trouble is, I intentionally laid out the format.

I'm clueless as to the Netscape 4.7x problem. I know one person told me that "generation" didn't support dhtml ...

OK--

Please check this monstrosity on Netscape 4.7x now.

Eliminated all the extra Hdr Style sections.

Don't want to do anything with the "tri-fold" design right now...
I like it. (plus, for now, stuck with web provider ad on top right).

I DO appreciate your corrections, comments, and suggestions ...

Hi Kevin--

Sorry. I had already e-mailed a message that I'd found the problem. Had a sub-menu of the same name (under a "disconnected" main selection) which was being read instead of the one I was changing.

Finally reasoned that just about HAD to be the cause.

Thanks,
Steve

Communicator 4.73 -- menus not viewable

Hello--

Can't get the menus working on Communicator 4.7. (Java & JS ARE checked in the browser)

Probably something in my coding.

Now have things messed up trying.

Basic question...

Where should mmenu file go: Head or Body?
Where should menu_array file go: Head or Body?

Area between 2 horiz menus unusable?

Oh, boy...

RE http://our.homewithgod.com/spr/

Trying to put a photo between the two horizontal menus, toward the right.

No luck.

Additionally, I tried to put the news-ticker (appearing in the header) near the bottom of the page, but it kept appearing where it is.

Thought I could create a table ...

Kevin--

Fabulous! Thanks.

When the cursor moves off a menu, it stays visible a little too long.

I presume I need to reduce TIMEGAP.

RE the "bottom" setting...
is it possible to use something like "bottom + 5" to bring it just up off the bottom?

Thanks

Horizontal menu can expand up?

Hello--

RE http://our.homewithgod.com/spr/

Have two horizontal menus, which work well.

I'd like to position the bottom menu near the bottom, and have it expand/open UP rather than down.

Is this do-able?

OR... (if they only open down)

If I position it near the bottom, can I set "follow ...

Hi John--

Got it working. Never found a problem.
Just deleted several "addmenu's" and re-entered.

With a menu displayed vertically...
how do you "deploy it" two-items wide?

i.e., vertical menu with 6 items total, displayed as 3 rows of 2 items each, side-by-side.

Thanks,
Steve
