I think the ASP technique would work well for me since I've written most of my database access code in ASP. I will give this a try and post back to let you know how it went.

Have either of you tried either the ASP or the integrated variable approach with your menus?

Passing menu style parameters to a page

I don't know if this is possible, but I thought I would ask and see.

I would like to pass a variable to a page that contains a menu. This variable would turn the color of one of the menu items to green...so basically setting the oncolor parameter. This would save me having to make a separate menu ...

Thanks for your reply.

I tried what you suggested and the link doesn't go anywhere when I use "#". In fact I went to the sample pages where this # is also used and the link doesn't respond either. It just show a "#" in the URL bar at the bottom of my browser, but nothing happens. I'm using Explorer ...

Dynamic Top of Page?

I would like to add a top of page menu that follows the user down the page. When the user clicks on the "Top of Page" menu item it will take them back up to the top.

Very simple right? Well, my problem is that I want this script to run on every page. How do I specify the top of page in the .js ...
