yes, that is the point of my entire post. When you do this the submenu becomes absolute, such that if you use left="10", the submenu is 10 pixels from the left window margin.

Actually, the fix was a matter of putting the initial menu itself in the table cell and moving the jscript calls back into the header. Now it acts like a grown up!! after removing the "nones and "#nones" there really isn't any change in either IE or Scape. In both rollovers do not roll back to original state after mouseoff.

I just purchased your new menu but it appears to be buggy in Mac IE 5.x and Scape 7.x; 6.7x. It works like a dream on Safari.
