Hi Ruth -- I'm using Firefox, Macintosh (34.0.5). I checked the full width menu:
https://milonic.com/menusample26.php
and it doesn't seem responsive when I adjust the window size.

Responsive?
Is the current Milonic Menu responsive? The demos I checked didn't seem to be, but maybe I wasn't doing sometime right.

Adding onclick event to links
I want to use Google Analytics to track clicks on an outbound link in my Milonic Menu. I need to add the following code to the url:
<a onclick="_gaq.push(['_trackEvent', 'Outbound Links', 'Click', 'Google']);"
How do I do this without breaking the menu?

Re: Background opacity
Hi Ruth: The link to the background image is below. The links are #273A96 with a white (partially opaque) background. I've pasted the menu data code below as well The exact colors I can play with -- what I really need is the code to control the opacity of the background. I think the rawcss coding yo...

Re: Background opacity
Thanks Ruth. What I'm looking for is a semi-transparent white background behind my links, as the entire menu will sit on top of an image. So I need enough background to make the links readable, but transparent enough so that some of the image can bleed through.

Re: Incorporating into Joomla?
But the trick would be to incorporate it into the Joomla system -- otherwise users will have to edit the data file manually -- they wouldn't be able to use the default Joomla system for creating links to pages. Or am I missing something?

Re: Facebook effect for rollovers?
Hi Ruth -- it is the "Home" "Profile" and "Account" buttons on the top right-hand section of the page. If you roll over them, the background color lightens just a bit -- almost like a screen.

Main menu item stays highlighted while mousing over submenus
If I have a main menu item that generates submenus, the background changes on the main item as well as the submenus as I roll over them. Is there a way I can get the main menu item to revert to the "off" background color after I move the cursor off that and onto it's submenu items? Thanks,...

Facebook effect for rollovers?
How do I get the same effect Facebook has on their menu system, where the rollover color is a lighter shade of the off background color? Do I just look for a color that is a little bit lighter? Or is there a better way?
Thanks,
John

To rephrase this a bit: Can a submenu be triggered to display when a certain page loads?

Can submenus be locked on?
Right now, I mouseover a main menu item and the submenu drops down. I move the mouse to the submenu and click on a link. But when I do that, the submenu disappears (I know, it's supposed to do that). Can the script be configured so that after clicking on a submenu link and traveling to that page, th...

Re: Even spacing of different-sized menu items
Oops -- sorry, my example didn't work very well because the browser ignores the extra spaces.
But hopefully my words explain it sufficiently. I want the same amount of space between the different menu items, regardless of their individual length.

Even spacing of different-sized menu items
I'm trying to get the items in my horizontal menu to spread out evenly. using menuwidth=100% and itemwidth=100%, I've gotten them to spread out, but the spacing between the various words differs -- I suspect because the menu is setting a single width for each item based on the width of the widest it...

Re: Menu not appearing in AOL
Hi Andy --
It's always hard to say with users -- but at least I know it's appearing in AOL 9. I'll try to troubleshoot the matter with her further. I do have a non-javascript menu available, so she should be seeing that at least if she has JS disabled.
Thank you,
John

Re: Menu not appearing in AOL
Thank you Ruth. Is it possible that there is a setting in my menu_data.js file that might be causing the problem? Or were you able to download that file as well?
I'll try reuploading the file to see if that helps.

Re: Menu not appearing in AOL
OK -- first of all, I tried to update my menu and something went wrong in the process. So I'm waiting to hear from Milonic to see what happened before I put my credit card out there again. In the meantime, I'm waiting to hear if upgrading will even help. It would be one thing if you said, "yes,...
