I figured it out! The variable under addmenu where the value "effect" used to default has a different comment line now and the value "effect" was not the default. I just missed it. Sorry to take your time.
Thanks again

I'm using IE 6.0.26 for both menus. An example of the 3.3.19 version of the menu can be seen inside the following domain.

No Drop Shadow of Main Menu
I've upgraded a menu from3.3.19 to 3.4.12. I had the strength of the drop shadow set to 5 and it looked great. I still have the strength set to 5, but no drop shadow on the main menu. The sub-menus all have the correct drop shadow. Any ideas? I can submit the menu_array.js if needed.
Thanks

Re: Issues with referring pages
Jason,
I've seen the 'up instead of down' thing happen in my trials as well. It always occurs for me on a frames page were the frame that the menu resides in does not have enough room below the menu to display the entire drop-down. So, it displays upwards were there is enough room.
Hope this helps ...

Re: menus in frames
Hi,
<a href=http://milonic.com/menu/frames/>http:// ... frames/</a> should give you a clue..
There's still some work to do but it's almost there.
Andy.
