Ya, I figured the second problem was part of the design of the menu system. It's not that big of a deal, 'cause it's not likely to happen too often anyway. I just thought I should mention it incase someone else had questions
I played around with that javascript "plugin" you mentioned a little. It seems to work alright for basic things (which is pretty much what I want). But I run into a few problems...
First off, if I have a clock in the menu using this code: aI("text="+getMilonicDate()+";align=center ...
Is there any update on this?
Or have you guys been too busy making the menu even better then it already is?
(I've seen a bunch of updates listed in the past couple of weeks, so you guys must be busy!!)
Yes, I do want a calendar that would popup where the cursor is.
But a calendar that would popup like a menu item wouldn't be bad either.
Maybe even a floating calendar would be kinda cool too...
Thanks Ruth! Sorry for the delayed response... I've been a little busy
Ya, I'm trying to figure out how to get the div hider to work. I couldn't really see anything in the menu data file for the sample, but I guess I had no clue as to what to look for. I'll check it out your suggestion and ...
I've had the same problem since EARLY versions of 5.
No one seems to be able to fix the problem.
First & Second level menus work fine, but once the thrid level menu pops up over the iframe, the menu just dissapears...
They must have changed something in the menu script because before I never used the menuwidth item, only the itemwidth.
I created a test menu to check it out and it seems to work fine now that I followed your directions... I tried putting it in earlier today (both items ...
I've noticed that using the latest version of the menu with recent builds of Mozilla/Firefox the "itemwidth" doesn't seem to be working. It works fine with IE. This happens on both Windows and Mac. I can't remember off the top of my head if it affects Safari or not... sorry.
That's what I was thinking too... but I was hoping for some "global setting" that would offset the items. I guess I'll just put that on the "wish-list"
