What you are looking to do can be done.

I am currently doing pretty much the same thing using SQL and ASP. What I did was actually create two separate tables (one with all of the Menu Array information and one with each of the individual menu items).

I have been using version 3 for quite some time and for the most part, I love it and can't live without it. I would like very much to upgrade to the newest version. Does anybody know for sure if the problem has been resolved with the Menu not showing up if a user has Norton Internet Security ...

Norton/Symantec causing Menu display problems

I am starting to get calls from users saying that they cannot see the menu. I have read that Norton/Symantec Internet Security software is causing this problem. Some of my users have disabled security and can now see the menu but this is not a good solution.
