I understand my mistake in the menu calls, and I have replaced my code with the code you posted. This fixed the problem in Netscape, but not in IE. The menu still will not display in IE.

OK, now I have removed the frames from my page and am using an iframe instead. Much cleaner. However, the menu is still not showing up. Iframes are supported for version 5, correct?

Can anyone tell me what might be causing this issue?

Hi John,

I have been looking and can't find it. Can you help me find the unsupported frames fix you mentioned? My menu doesn't need to cross frames.

Additionally, I am wondering if you know why the mulitple color component of my v5 menu is not working. Here is the code, which looks the same as ...

v5 menu entirely within one frame

I have just converted my menu to v5, and it works except when it is supposed to appear inside a frame. (I am working on a mac, and don't know yet if it does any better in windows) It doesn't need to cross the frame, but just display inside the right frame:

Hi John,

I successfully updated the page, but now I have the same problem as before, that the frames pages don't show the menu:

Do you know of a fix for this?

OK. I only seem to have a "menu_array.js" file and a "mmenu.js" file. Which one should I run the updater on? I can't see a "_data" file.

I am having a problem with the menu on windows IE. I know this sounds ridiculous, but I don't know if I am using version 5 or not. A few months ago I tried to convert it, but ran into issues with frames. Now I can't remember if I solved the frames ...

5 and Frames?

Now that I have upgraded my menu from 3.x to 5, the menus that appear in a frame don't work. The menu was supposed to appear and open in the right frame. It doesn't have to cross a frame. They were working fine before.

My URL is: http://www.genetherapy-mssm.net/home.php

The menu works on the home ...

No, I don't have a pop-up blocker. As I mentioned, the page is viewed for a second, and then it goes to another page with a "Page not Found" error. I am wondering if it is a website issue that could be fixed.

Otherwise, what is the best way to convert my 3.x menu to 5?

Milonic website problem

I am trying to use the 3-5 converter, and after it completes, a page flashes for a brief second that I can see gives text you need to paste into a text editor, but it goes too fast for me to do anything about it. Can someone let me know what I need to do after running the converter, or send me the ...
