Sorry for the delay. The site is http://www.infibail.com
Interestingly, I did nothing to it. It just worked.

Netscape 4.79 and multiple menus
Hi,
I have a number of identical menus scattered over the page and they are supposed to change colors on mouse over.
But Netscape 4.79 (and probably before) fails to consistently switch the background and foreground colors when mousing over. Sometimes it succeeds, sometimes it does not.

highlighting parent menu
Paul,
I guess I did not explain it correctly. What I need is the parent menu(s) of a particular active page to be highlighted as well as the submenu that points to the active page:
MainMenuItem
¦
¦___SubMenu1Item
¦
¦___SubMenu2Item
If I select SubMenu2Item I would like to see the MainMenuItem ...

highlighting parent menu
Hi,
I have searched the forum for an answer on the possibility to highlight the parent menu for the current page set by a submenu. I could not find an answer, thus this message.
Is this something that the menu is supposed to / capable of doing?
Thanks,
Erwin

Re: menu display in Opera and NS
Thanks for the response. The problem I have with it is that I populate the menu strings dynamically depending on the language preferences of the site visitor. Therefore, it would be a mess having to recalculate the menu width every time...
Any other suggestions?

menu display in Opera and NS
I can't get the menus displayed correctly in Opera 6 and NS4. the menu displays the menu background colour correctly for the width of the string but displays a "space" with another colour for shorter menu items.
Any thoughts?
