I've had 2 unrelated clients ask me about it recently, so I figured it was worth looking into. It is annoying, and fixable.

Look at http://revolutiongroup.com/

That is one client that asked me to get rid of the dotted lines, which I did. If you view the source and search for "blur" it will take ...

how to remove dotted line from images on mouseover

On image buttons when I'm not using Milonic, I usually add

onfocus="this.blur()

How do I do that on Milonic? I'm getting those ugly dashed lines around active links.

Thanks,

Doug

urls not working on images - help

I have a top level graphic based menu with text drop downs. The text drop downs and their links work fine, but the links on the images don't work. They don't even show a the mouse turning to a hand. What is wrong with the configuration here?

The last two (see below) don't have menus, and these don ...

If I'm not mistaken, all the menus are independent of eachother, correct? They can all have their own CSS?

use images on top nav and text on menus?

Hi: Can milonic v5 be configured to use images as the top nav and text as the flyout navs, or does all of the menu have to be one or the other? Thanks!

This is internal, so I can't post the page, but here is some more code:

with(milonic=new menuname("Main Menu Left")){
style=mainMenu;
screenposition="top; left"
top="offset=73";
left=2;
alwaysvisible=1;
orientation="horizontal";
aI("text=<u>H</u>ome;url=menu.htm");

Got it in there, but there seems to be a problem:

aI("separatorimage=images/divider_horizontal_double.gif;separatorheight=16;separatorwidth=2");

The "separatorwidth" parameter doesn't seem to work. The height works, but the width stays the same no matter what I do. Any ideas?

That is for a global separator, though, right? I want to insert a single separator as needed in list like this, where "-------" is my separator:

Item A
Item B
Item C
---------
Item D
Item E
---------
Item F

How do you do that other than the way I mentioned?

single separator image in a menu

Hi:

Is there a more elegant or scalable way to accomplish getting a single separator image in a dropdown or vertical menu? Right now, I have to custom design an image to fit the exact width (or height on verticals) of a menu. Is there some other way to programmatically do this, other than:

(sample ...

I'm behind a firewall and have no ftp to the outside world, but I can paste code.

I'm calling the classes externally BEFFORE the js files, like this:

<html>
<head>

<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1">
<link href="styles.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css ...

can't get onClass, offClass to work

Hi:

I can't get this to work for some reason. The menu is transparent, with only the black text showing up. What am I doing wrong?

I have this defined in the menu_data.js

with(mainMenu=new mm_style()){
//onbgcolor="#C7CCCD";
//oncolor="#000000";
//offbgcolor="#C7CCCD";
offcolor="transparent ...
