Thank you for your advice - unfortunately it did not work, but it brought me on the right track :

I have set now : marginwidth="8" marginheight="8" and it works !

Can anybody help me in positioning the menu correctly in IE AND netscape ? In netscape it is always lower and i dont no what to adjust !
