Menu Problem with Mac

I am using the popup() function with Milonic 5 menu. It works great on win IE great but on Mac IE 5.2 it has problems.

The problem is if you mouse over to activate the menu it works fine but if you take your mouse away and then mouse back over the menu will not appear. I have to refresh the page to ...

That wont' work with perl files I don't think. Apache has the abiltiy to parse PHP script in files but not perl

I have a menu generated by a .pm file that has to be perl because I am passing some things back and forth.

My page looks like this.
